Dong Sun received her Ph.D in Experimental Pathology in 1999 at Southampton University, United Kingdom.   After completing postdoc. training in the laboratories of Dr. A. Symes at the Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, MD and Dr. Ross Bullock in MCV/VCU, Dr. Sun joined the faculty in 2004.
